
Kara is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and the Director of Clinical Operations at Carolina Integrative Medicine. With over 15 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and 7 years as a Nurse Practitioner, she brings a strong clinical foundation and a patient-centered perspective to both care delivery and practice leadership.
As a Nurse Practitioner, Kara specializes in women’s health, hormone optimization, metabolic health, and chronic disease management, using a functional and integrative approach to address root causes rather than symptoms alone. She is passionate about patient education and works collaboratively with individuals to develop personalized treatment plans that support long-term health and sustainable outcomes.
In her role as Director of Clinical Operations, Kara oversees clinical meetings, provider coordination, and quality of care across the practice. She plays a key role in supporting clinical staff and ensuring that Carolina Integrative Medicine delivers consistent, high-quality, and compassionate care.
Kara earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from Clemson University and is committed to ongoing education in integrative and functional medicine. She is dedicated to bridging thoughtful clinical care with strong operational systems to enhance both patient experience and provider support.
