From the tops of our heads to the tips of our toes, blood flow is the key to delivering oxygen and nutrients throughout our entire body. Without proper blood flow, every system suffers—your muscles, brain, heart, and even your immune system. One of the most powerful ways to enhance blood flow is by boosting nitric oxide levels in your body.
I’m going to show you how nitric oxide can help you feel more energized, focused, and vibrant, along with a simple, fun four-minute workout you can do anywhere.
Nitric oxide is a naturally occurring molecule in your body that helps open up blood vessels, allowing more blood, oxygen, and nutrients to reach your brain, muscles, and organs. When nitric oxide levels are low, your body struggles to function optimally.
Here’s what I often see when nitric oxide is deficient:
When we restore nitric oxide, we often see better energy, improved mood, sharper brain function, stronger workouts, and healthier hearts, and yes, sometimes even better performance in the bedroom, too.
There are three main ways to increase nitric oxide in your body:
I’ve designed a four-minute workout that targets 16 muscles and naturally boosts nitric oxide. The key? Perform the exercises with your mouth closed. By restricting oxygen slightly, your body produces more nitric oxide to increase blood flow.
Here’s the routine:
Repeat all four exercises four times (4 rounds of 4 exercises = 4 minutes).
Pro Tip: Start without weights, then gradually add light dumbbells (3–5 lbs) as you get stronger.
When I Do This:
In addition to this workout, I always tell my patients to include nitric oxide-boosting foods daily:
Even simple, consistent changes in your diet and movement can make a big difference in how energized and focused you feel.
Nitric oxide is a natural, powerful way to improve energy, mood, brain function, and overall health. By combining nutrition, supplements if needed, and a short, fun workout, you can restore blood flow and feel revitalized from head to toe.
