Embracing Multitudes: My Heart-Led Approach to Medicine and Life

When Tom Jackobs introduced me on The Heart Led Business Show as “the prime duchess of prose and the marquess of medical mastery,” I laughed—and it made me pause. I realized: I really do wear many hats.

I’m a doctor, mom, business owner, author, mentor, coach, and leader of a growing team. I help patients reclaim their health and help other practitioners redesign how they practice. But at the heart of all of it: I’m here to change lives—not just refill prescriptions.

Heart-Led Medicine in Action

Being heart-led means making a real, day-to-day difference. I want patients to:

  • Understand why they feel the way they do
  • Move out of survival mode into fully living
  • Have energy to thrive, not just get through the day

Many of my patients are high achievers—executives, entrepreneurs, busy professionals, and moms—who “look fine” on paper. But behind the scenes, they feel drained, anxious, or disconnected from their lives.

After working together, patients often say:

“I feel like myself again.”
“I can show up for my family and work without feeling broken.”

That’s the true north of my practice: helping people feel joyful, intentional, and fully present.

Why I Left Insurance

I spent years in the traditional system: rushing through 20–25 patients a day, squeezing complex stories into seven-minute visits, and handing out prescriptions because there wasn’t room for anything deeper.

I realized: this system is built for sick care, not wellness.

So, I made a bold decision: I left insurance and built a practice aligned with my values—focused on:

  • Longer, deeper visits
  • Root-cause investigation
  • Comprehensive wellness programs

Programs, Not Just Visits

Traditional pay-per-visit care often fails. Patients improve, then relapse months later.

Our all-inclusive wellness programs fix that:

  • Hour-long visits, not seven-minute drive-bys
  • Functional lab analysis and personalized plans
  • Built-in coaching and follow-ups
  • A coordinated team that knows you

Think of it like an all-inclusive vacation: you focus on the journey, not the cost of each excursion.

Leading with Value

Another lesson: know your worth.

Early on, our programs felt expensive—$3,000 here, $5,600 there—but the results proved their value. Today, programs range from $15,000 to $25,000, offering more depth, more access, and real, lasting transformation.

Investing in yourself as a practitioner—through mentorship, coaching, and education—empowers you to deliver care that truly changes lives.

Caring for the Team, Caring for Patients

I don’t run this practice alone. We’ve grown from me + one nurse to a team of 13. My priority: ensure they are supported, healthy, and aligned, so they can give patients the care they deserve.

Mentoring Other Practitioners

Other providers often ask: “Can you teach me how to do what you’re doing?”

I mentor, coach, and lead retreats, helping practitioners build heart-led, sustainable practices. My goal: high-touch, high-impact care multiplied across the field.

If You See Yourself in This Story

If you’re a patient thinking, “I want my life back,” our programs go beyond symptom management. We focus on root-cause healing, personalized support, and real transformation—so you can reclaim your energy, clarity, and joy, and step fully into the life you deserve.

If you’re a healthcare provider ready to build a heart-led, sustainable practice but unsure how to make the shift, I can guide you. I’ve faced the challenges of leaving the old system, rebuilding a model, and growing a team—and I help other practitioners create practices that are impactful, high-touch, and aligned with their values.

This is an invitation: whether reclaiming your health or redesigning your practice, meaningful change is possible—and the first step is choosing it.

Take the first step toward transformation today: schedule a Discovery Call to explore how we can help you reclaim your health or redesign your practice.
